Located on the Northern peninsula of Zanzibar island, one hours drive from the Zanzibar airport or Stone Town, overlooks a sparkling expanse of iridescent Indian Ocean.

Descriptions & Features
The hotel makes use of ancient local building traditions to create a contemporary architectural space from natural materials. All main structures are open-air makuti-thatched ceilings which arch high overhead, allowing all to luxuriate in the space, light and atmosphere that this unique location affords. The beach is uncrowded and superb for swimming, walking and all forms of water sport.

All 32 rooms (Lodge, Superior Chalet and Superior Deluxe Chalet) are tastefully furnished, with hand -crafted four poster beds and indigenous décor, and all have balconies, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, hair-dryers, electronic safes and ensuite facilities with deluxe bathroom amenities. Lodge rooms have a garden view and all Chalets have sea view that are fitted with mini-bars.

Ras Nungwi’s unique Ocean Suite provides the finest beach accommodation on Zanzibar Island. The enormous detached suite of over 200 square metres is entirely self-contained in verdant gardens, with its own plunge pool and spacious living areas.
